FAQ
Q.What is a roll-off dumpster?
A.A roll-off dumpster is a heavy-duty trash container used for big cleanup projects. This large, sturdy trash container is rectangular in shape and made of welded steel with an open top for easy, on-location loading of junk, trash and debris. Its large capacity makes it ideal for a cleanup, remodel, renovation or demolition. The industry name for these trash containers is “roll-off dumpster” because they are delivered by a truck that rolls the dumpster off the back of the truck.
Q.What is a dump trailer?
A.A dump trailer is essentially a dumpster mounted on top of a trailer, also sometimes referred to as a rubber tire dumpster. It is called a dump trailer because it has a hydraulic system that raises the front of the container high into the air, while the rear of it is still attached to the trailer, creating a steep angle that allows the contents to be emptied or “dumped” by gravity.
Q.Should I rent a roll-off dumpster or a dump trailer?
A.Generally, a roll-off dumpster is the preferred option. Why? Since a roll-off dumpster is placed on the ground, the floor will be 6-8 inches off the ground vs a dump trailer that has a floor height that is generally 2-3 feet off the ground. With the lower floor height and large rear door of the roll-off dumpster, it makes it convenient to walk into/out of the container for easier, more efficient loading, especially for heavier or bulky items. In addition to the roll-off dumpster’s lower floor height, it will have lower sides than a dump trailer, making it easier to place materials or items into the container when the door is closed.
Unfortunately, some HOA’s, gated communities or other locations have rules prohibiting the use of roll-off dumpsters and a dump trailer will be your only option.
For the convenience of our valued customers, we offer both roll-off dumpsters and dump trailers to meet the needs of your project or job location.

At the end of the first 30 days, we will deliver a new dumpster, with a new 3 day rental period with additional days for $10/day, up to a maximum of 30 days.
Q.Where can the dumpster be placed?
A.We need an open area 50' long and 10' wide to deliver and pick up a roll-off dumpster. If you don’t have that space available, one of our dump trailer rentals may be a better option as they can be maneuvered into tighter spaces with a 18' long and 10' wide area to be parked. Flat, hard surfaces, like a driveway, are ideal for dumpster placement. Surfaces to avoid include: slopes, city streets (without a permit), soft ground and property that's not your own. When reserving the dumpster or dump trailer, in the “Dumpster Placement Info” section, be sure to let us know if you need the dumpster or dump trailer placed in a manner that will allow you to open the rear door. If you have any questions or concerns about placement or space limitations, please don’t hesitate to call us.
Q.Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
A.No, we have highly skilled operators and while there is always a chance of damaging concrete, our equipment is designed to lower the container down in a slow and controlled manner as well as pick it up using the rollers on the rear of the dumpster. To further prevent the possibility of damage, we place wood under the dumpster so it will not come in direct contact with the concrete. There shouldn't be any damages on delivery and/or pick up. If damages occur we will not be held liable and/or responsible for damages to grass, driveways, pavers and any area the dumpster rental is placed. We do our best to take care when delivering a dumpster rental so as not to damage the area we set it on.
Q.How high can I stack trash and debris in the dumpster?
A.Just below the top rim of the dumpster. In order to comply with DOT regulations, and to ensure the safety of the operator, and other drivers on the road, all dumpsters must be loaded within the maximum load markers on the top of the dumpster. If the dumpster is loaded outside of the top rim, we cannot transport it. The customer will be responsible for unloading any dumpster that is loaded exceeding the maximum height limit.
Q.What items CAN go in the dumpster?
A.Construction debris, demolition/renovation debris, roofing materials, wood, bulky waste, yard waste, house hold furniture, carpet, wood or laminate flooring, paper, glass and plastic. We have specific, heavy duty dumpsters that allow concrete, tile and dirt.
